Terms and Conditions

Zen & Healthy Recovery is not a medical service or medical provider. Our specialty is providing luxurious and comfortable shared living space to assist guests with physical recovery following cosmetic surgery procedures. It is important that you understand that Zen & Healthy Recovery is not a substitute for medical care or hospitalization; therefore the surgeon that performed your surgery will remain responsible for your medical care.

In accordance with the Mexican law, the consumption of tobacco (cigarettes, cigars, any type of pipe, etc.), electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, alcohol, marijuana (CBD/THC) in any of its presentations (plant, edibles, vaporizer, oils, wax, etc.) is prohibited inside all facilities and its surroundings. Anyone caught using them will immediately be asked to leave Zen & Healthy Recovery without condition.

NO pets or children under 14 years old allowed.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

Deposit- The reservation becomes binding only after a non-refundable deposit of the first night per guest has been received.
Final Payment- The remaining balance must be paid in full by Zelle, cash or credit card upon your arrival at Zen.
Credit card payments have an additional charge of 11% because it generates taxes (8%) and bank commission (3%)

CANCELLATION AND RESERVATION CHANGES FEES

Cancellation Prior to Arrival- In case you want to make a final cancellation of your reservation; the deposit of the first night is non-refundable.
Changes Prior to Arrival- There is a $100 fee per reservation for any changes made 15 days or less prior to arrival to Zen & Healthy Recovery. To request a change please contact us at bookings@zenhealthyrecovery.com (Changes are subject to availability)
Rescheduling- We understand that special unavoidable circumstances may cause you to reschedule your procedure on the same day of surgery. All reschedules are based on availability, please notify as soon as you’re coordinating a new surgery date with your doctor so we confirm we can accommodate your new recovery dates. If the rescheduled dates do not fit into Zen & healthy Recovery agenda the reschedule will proceed as a final cancellation.
- One reschedule is granted in case of surgery cancellation for medical reasons only. In case of a second reschedule guest will need to pay another deposit to keep reservation.

REFUNDS

The first night reservation deposit is under any situation (cancellation, no show, failure to meet the standards of your doctor to have surgery done, accidents, death) non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you are already at Zen and want to departure earlier than what you booked, there will be a penalty of two non-refundable nights. (Since these are nights that we are denying to other patients who want to stay with us).

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT POLICY

Standard check-in time is 10:00 a.m. and checkout time is 9:00 a.m.
At arrival, every guest must fill out a “LIABILITY RELEASE FORM”. A passport or ID card must be presented for every guest wishing to stay, this is required by law for the purpose of registration.
Late check out fees USD:
- Before 1 pm $30
- After 1 pm $50
- After 5 pm $100
- After 8 pm a full night
- Late check out is based on availability only.

ROOMS AND GUESTS

Only 1 companion over 18 years old is allowed and there is a cost of 69 dlls per night. (FOOD INCLUDED)
Guests will be asked to lower their voice tone and TV volume after 10 pm.

MEALS

What you eat during the postoperative period will help your body recover faster, that’s why we have a specially designed menu that is both healthy and delicious.

Meals included for post op patients:

3 Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

2 Snacks

Unlimited chamomile and arnica tea

Other drinks like electrolyte are not included in our daily packages.

TRANSPORTATION

Included Transportation:

Transportation from the clinic/hospital after being discharged from surgery.
Transportation to follow up post-op appointments (round trip)

Transportation NOT included

Single local transportation $7 USD
Zen & Healthy Recovery offers San Diego Airport – Tijuana transportation, if service is needed, please notify us prior your arrival.
- San Diego Airport-Tijuana – $100 USD each way
- Medical Pass (fast border crossing) Tijuana to San Diego - $45 USD

MASSAGES

Massages are not included, however we can schedule massage therapist visits to our recovery during your stay, if this service is needed please let us know in advance.

Lymphatic Massage $50 USD each

VISITING HOURS

To respect other guest’s privacy and comfort, visiting hours are between 9 am to 9 pm.
